Here is another vampire song I like:
Still Heart by Cree Summer. It probably isn't *really* a vampire song, but that's sure all I can think of when I listen to it.
I bring it up because I used it in my Wednesday Fiction over at
merry_fates. Last week,
brennayovanoff reminded me that no TWILIGHT spoof* is complete without werewolves, so I give you all part five of
The Dusk Saga:
Some Triangles Have Only Two Points.
As Maggie said after reading it, Ms. Meyer will not be sending me any Christmas cards.

ALSO: On Monday I wrote THREE blurbs for three different novels (one complete, two proposals), and a bio for myself that outlines all the reasons I should be attractive to publishers right now. It was SO HARD. Which isn't surprising - what surprised me was how much harder it was to write a synopsis for a novel that was already written than to write one for the two prospectives. Maybe because I have less room to make sh*t up?

There is basically nothing of interest going on in my life that doesn't involve writing. Part of me feels like there should be, but most of me is just happy.
* It isn't really a spoof, in that it isn't exactly funny. It makes
me laugh, but there are many things wrong with me. Basically, I decided to explore what might make a vampire fall in love with a teenaged girl in the real world. The real world being where vampires burn to a crisp in sunlight and have to eat human beings to survive. My answer was
major disfunction.
